My friend went down into the ravine first. Therefore, he was the first to get to the deer. I was still making my way down the rocks when he yelled up to me. My friend said, “I would hate to see what you would call a monster.” I had no idea. I was totally shocked when I first saw the deer.
   It had 18 scorable points, scored 189 1/8 non typical. It was entered into the Ohio Big Bucks Record Book. I was using a 10 Point Crossbow with a red dot scope, 10 Point Carbon Bolts tipped with Thunderhead 125 Broadheads. We also had trail cameras in the area. So did most of

the other hunters who were land-owners in the vicinity.
   We had lots of photos of a lot of nice deer. But no one had any photos or had ever seen this deer in the area when scouting. (end)
